Wine Tour Planeta & Feudo Arancio Winery in Agrigento Area
Wine Tasting ExperienceA one day tour to the Belice Valley to The Feudo Arancio and Planeta Wineries. You will discover a landscape marked by the alternation of vineyards, olive groves, citrus groves, gorse schrubs, daisies, carob trees and prickly pear cacti. You will taste fine wines with a unique taste and an irresistible scent of spring.
The program is:
Pick up at hotel by your English speaking driver.
Then, you will be driven to Feudo Arancio Winery, constructed in the traditional baglio style. The mix of state-of-the-art technology and traditional architecture of the winery reflects the style of its final product. Arancio cultivates its own grapes in two large estates along the windy south coast of the island. A total of 1,700 acres of vineyards are planted in single variety fields in order to offer 100% single varietal wines to the consumer.
Then you will be taken to Sambuca di Sicilia and visit Planeta Winery, founded in 1995 on the banks of Lake Arancio surrounded by vineyards and a native olive tree grove. You will tour the production facility, visit the aging cellar and have a tasting of four different wines paired with local lunch.
Finally drive to Selinunte to visit the archeological park on your own.
Return to the hotel.
